The aquatic center features include a zero depth entry, diving area, and two water slides. One is 140' and the other is in the toddler area. Both swimming lessons and water aerobics are available. Colonel Larson Park
Enter at Blair and Earle Street
This park features a softball field, basketball, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, playground, park shelters and picnic areas on the banks of the Trempealeau River. Melby Park
Park and Hobson Street
Melby Park features an enclosed park shelter with fireplace, a new children’s play area, recently renovated baseball field with covered stadium seating and basketball courts, all nestled under a variety of shade trees. Call (715) 538-4353 or email the City of Whitehall to reserve the park shelter.

Whitehall Public School District
The mission of the Whitehall Public School District is to provide learning experiences that empower students to create a positive vision of their future through the interaction of school, family and community. The Whitehall School District is committed to serving all students and providing for high quality education experiences according to the child's age. The Whitehall School District accommodates students from K-12. Students can explore their talents and plan their future through the numerous academic and extra-curricular opportunities provided by dedicated professionals.

Western Technical College
In addition to the regular classroom settings, two-way interactive cable television courses connect to other area schools, and outreach programs through Western Technical College are available. The district also offers programs in the Wisconsin School-To-Work Transitions initiative such as Tech Prep and Youth Apprenticeship.
Western Technical College provides educational opportunities to our region, including a campus in Independence, located five miles west of Whitehall, and a main campus in La Crosse. Western offers certificates, technical diplomas, associate degrees, and credits that transfer to four-year universities, as well as customized training, professional development, English language learner, and college prep courses. Community partnerships include service learning opportunities with non-profit organizations and program advisory boards with local business representatives. The local Job Center is located on Western’s Independence campus and is headed by the Western Wisconsin Private Industry Council, which coordinates job training and retention in area communities.

Gundersen Tri-County Hospital & Clinics
Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall Hospital provides 24-hour emergency service and evening and weekend Urgent Care. With full laboratory and radiology departments; an outpatient and inpatient Rehabilitation Services department; cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation; nutrition services; seasonal community wellness events; swing bed care, hospice care and more, you are sure to find the care you need at Gundersen Tri-County.
Our nursing team works with your primary care provider or our 24-hour hospitalists to ensure quality care during your stay. Gundersen Tri-County Care Center is a 35-bed facility on the third floor of Gundersen Tri-County’s Whitehall Hospital. The Senior Living center is an 11-unit residential care apartment complex.
Connecting Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall to the Whitehall Hospital and staffing both with local physicians enhances medical care. Specialists from Gundersen La Crosse also provide medical services to the Clinic, allowing patients to receive care in their hometown. Specialties available at Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall include Audiology; Cardiology; Women’s Health; Surgery; Orthopaedics; Behavioral Health and more, many of which are also available via telemedicine.

Gundersen Eye Clinic Whitehall is also conveniently located between Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall and the Whitehall Hospital. Board-certified optometrists provide a full range of services, including family eye exams, laser vision evaluations and emergency eye care.
